Using the Landfill

The only public landfill located in the City of Glendale is Scholl Canyon Landfill, which is operated by the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts. It can be reached by taking the Figueroa Boulevard exit off the 134 Freeway and taking Figueroa north into the hills until it ends at the Landfill. The Landfill hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Saturday. Questions regarding the Landfill, including the price to dispose of waste, should be directed to 323-245-9865.
