Burbank Robbery Suspects Captured

At approximately 10:55 a.m. Burbank Police chased three suspects in a vehicle who were wanted for a robbery that had just occurred in their city. The vehicle chase concluded at the intersection of Orange and Colorado in the city of Glendale when it crashed into a parked car. Two suspects were taken into custody while the third fled on foot. Burbank Police gave chase, however the suspect was able to evade the officers on the Americana property.
Glendale Police arrived to assist Burbank Police and immediately set up a perimeter. The entire Americana property was secured, businesses closed and patrons escorted off the property.
Glendale SWAT and K-9 teams were called to the scene. The K-9 unit and SWAT began a search for the suspect who was believed to armed and dangerous. The K-9 tracked the suspect and was able to locate him hiding in a parking structure stairwell. The suspect was turned over to the Burbank Police Department. The Americana was reopened at approximately 2:45 P.M.
