Robbery - Wanted Suspect
Date Posted: 9/18/2009 10:39:33 AM
Bulletin Number: 09-33
DR Number: 09-16509
Announcement: On 09/16/09 at approximately 1453 hours the East West Bank located at 520 North Central Avenue was robbed. The male suspect approached the cashier carrying a blue file folder and stated, “I want it large...be quiet...hurry up...be quiet.” The teller thought the suspect possibly had a gun behind the blue folder the suspect was carrying. No gun was actually seen.

The cashier began to give the suspect cash out of fear the suspect had a weapon. The suspect became impatient and grabbed the money out of the cashier’s hand and walked out of the south entrance. The suspect left the scene in a dark sedan with $1600.00 in cash.

During the robbery, the suspect apparently dropped a photograph of a woman. It may have fallen out of the folder he was carrying.

Glendale Police Robbery Detectives are seeking the identification of the suspect. Photo's are attached in the wanted flier. In addition, Detectives hope to identify the woman in the dropped picture. She may be able to assist in the identification of the robbery suspect also. The woman in the picture is not considered a suspect.
