Neighborhood Services "Kid's Corner"

Kid's Corner Gallery

The Neighborhood Services "Clean Up Critters" have been designed to encourage the youth of our community to take pride in their neighborhoods. Each of the following downloadable pages spotlights a particular theme about how they may help make Glendale a better place to live and do business.

Win a Pizza Party for Your Class!

Neighborhood Services is committed to preserving the character and quality of Glendale neighborhoods. Maintaining your neighborhood litter and graffiti-free is a key component to our goals. In 300 words or less, write an essay telling us why you believe it is important to keep your neighborhood clean and free of litter.

Each month, we will select one winner out of all the entries received. The winning student will win a certificate of achievement and a pizza party for his/her entire classroom. Take a look at one of our recent winners sharing his essay (WMV file) with his classmates at John Muir Elementary School.

**Essays must be typed or printed neatly. Essays must also be free from spelling and grammar errors.**

E-mail your entry to Juan J. Gonzalez, Neighborhood Services Program Supervisor, or mail it to him at the Neighborhood Services Office, 141 North Glendale Ave. # 114, Glendale, CA 91206.
