Glendale Welcomes Newest Historic District!

After over two years of hard work by local residents, City Council designated the North Cumberland Heights Historic District Overlay Zone.

It consists of 179 homes with great examples of the architectural styles popular in Glendale built between the 1920s and 1940s.

Changing Your Windows? Get a Permit!

If you are replacing windows in your home or business, you need a permit from the City of Glendale Building and Safety Department. This applies even when you are putting new windows into the existing frame or when the windows can't be seen from the street. The only time you don't need a permit is when you are just replacing the glass in an existing window.

Design Review Board Meeting Changes

Design Review Board 2 will meet the 4th Thursday of every month.
