Litter-Not the Trash Bustin’ Burro, was born in the Verdugo Mountains of Glendale, CA in 1967. Raised by his elders to be kind toward the environment, Litter-Not picked up trash along the 210 freeway every morning on his way to school. Litter-Not learned the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling at an early age. In his spare time, Litter-Not and his friends would recycle aluminum cans and newspapers. They would then take the proceeds and plant flowers and trees throughout the community.
In the spring of 2002, Litter-Not joined forces with the Committee for a Clean & Beautiful Glendale. Dedicated to preserving Glendale clean and beautiful, Litter-Not urges everyone to keep the Verdugos green and Glendale clean because, "Every litter bit hurts!"
