Historic Preservation Commission (HPC)
The Historic Preservation Commission advises City Council regarding historic preservation issues in Glendale. HPC conducts monthly hearings at which it considers nominations to the Glendale Register of Historic Resources and new historic district applications. The Commission also reviews work proposed for designated properties to ensure consistency with preservation guidelines and principles.
HPC meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month at 2:00 p.m. in the Municipal Services Building Community Development Department Hearing Room (Room 105) at 633 E. Broadway. Free parking is available in the municipal lot on the south side of Wilson Avenue, just west of Glendale Avenue.
