Are You Prepared for the New Building Codes?
Beginning on January 1, 2011, the following new builidng codes will be enforced in California. All architects, engineers, designers and contractors need to use these new codes, or projects will not be approved.
- 2010 California Building Code (CBC) - for all structures (other than one and two family dwellings and townhomes)
- 2010 California Residential Code (CRC) - for one and two family dwellings
- 2010 California Green Building Standards Code (CGBSC) - first-in-the-nation to enforce the mandatory Green Building Standards Code (CALGreen)
