Susie Glaze & the Hilonesome Trio

Saturday, March 22, 2 pm

Central Library Auditorium
222 East Harvard Street
Glendale, CA 91205
Information: (818) 548-2027

Susie Glaze & The Hilonesome Trio have been delighting audiences large and small for over 10 years paying tribute to the great American folk music pioneer, Jean Ritchie. This is the rich, traditional music that came to the United States along with the early immigrants from England, Ireland and Scotland who settled here in the Appalachian Mountains.

Along with string band sounds, the Trio plays folk tunes incorporating indigenous traditional instruments such as mountain dulcimer, autoharp and hollow-backed, old-time banjo. Parents and children are invited to sing along. For more information visit susieglaze.com. Cosponsored by the Topanga Banjo - Fiddle & Folk Festival.
