Duties: The Historic Preservation Commission to the City Council after holding hearings concerning administrative alterations to historic resources, inclusion of property under historic preservation protection and other issues. Membership: Five members Three year term Two term limit Qualifications: Each member shall be a qualified elector of the city of Glendale at the time of appointment and during incumbency. All members shall demonstrate interest, competence and knowledge in historic preservation. Composition of the commission shall include at least one member doing business in one or more of the disciplines of architecture, history, architectural history, planning, archaeology, or other historic preservation related fields.
