The marketing program places the City of Glendale before certain growth segments of the business community - real estate, office, retail, and "entertainment" related businesses. Glendale has succeeded in creating a favorable environment (amenities, cost of doing business structure, safety, workforce availability) which is attractive to business. We are highly responsive to any new business that shows interest in locating in the City as well as attracting complementary business to our existing base. While vacancies have been relatively low throughout the 1990s, planned and recently completed development has created opportunities for attraction.
