Adams Square Facade Improvement Program |

As part of the Adams Square revitalization program, the Adams Square Facade Program, is designed to improve and revitalize the commercial environment in the district. This program provides an incentive for property owners to clean up and renovate their storefronts.
The Program provides assistance in the form of a grant, funded by the Community Development Block Grant Program, with a pre determined minimum contribution from the applicant. To ensure high quality and a uniform level of improvements for all applicants, the City of Glendale will provide and pay for architectural services.
Eligible improvements may consist of but are not limited to:
- Removal of outdated signs and placement of new signs.
- Modification of doors and windows.
- Repair, replacement, removal or installation of awnings, marquee or other sun control devices.
- Exterior painting and decorative treatment.
- Architectural lighting and window display lighting.
- Minor landscaping directly related to the exterior of the building.
- Other facade improvements not listed which will contribute to the retail/commercial environment.
