Duties: The two Design Review Boards review building plans concerning site plan and design issues prior to issuance of building permits for projects larger than those which have statutory exemption. Membership: Five members on each board Three year term Two term limit Qualifications: At least one member of each board group shall be a licensed architect. Other members of the board shall be persons who, as a result of their training, experience and attainments are qualified to analyze and interpret architectural and site planning information, including but not limited to licensed landscape architects, urban planners, engineers and builders/developers. Each member of the Design Review Board shall be a person who resides or conducts business in the city of Glendale at the time of appointment and during incumbency. Additional Information: The Community Planning Department provides administrative services for the Design Review Boards. The Director of Community Planning or the Planning Hearing Officer can provide additional information concerning Design Review Board matters.
