Glendale Housing Authority Issues a Statement of Interest for
Affordable Housing Development
The Housing Authority is seeking opportunities to develop affordable
housing for lower income households in Glendale. All professionals and
development teams interested are requested to submit a response to the
Community Development and Housing Department.
Submissions will be accepted on an ongoing basis. There is no
deadline for submissions.
Quality of Life Indicators are guides which are intended to give some reflection of the health of the larger community. Indicators are most commonly used to revitalize communities, build community participation, set priorities, and track progress of a community’s growth toward reaching and sustaining a healthy environment.

The Glendale Youth Alliance (GYA)has a grant funded program that
can offer exceptional youth workers and we will pay their wages
for the first 240 hours of employment. We will also provide vocational
skills training as well as workers compensation – free of charge!

Affordable Units and Enforceability
In accordance with the provisions of AB 987, a worksheet describing
existing new and substantially rehabilitated housing units that were
either (a) developed or otherwise assisted with Low and Moderate Income
Housing Funds, or (b) otherwise counted toward the Glendale Housing
Authority’s inclusionary and replacement housing obligations imposed by
Section 33413 of the Community Redevelopment Law, has been prepared and
posted at the link below for public review.
